Litha, the Summer Solstice or Midsummer, is one of the most magical moments of the Wheel of the Year.
In the Avalon tradition it is placed in the South, under the sign of the Element of Water and its colour, Blue.
It is the season in which we celebrate the great ocean Goddess Domnu, honouring our vulnerability, our emotions, and free expression. We release what no longer belongs to us, welcoming the freshness and the gentle flow of water.
The Summer Solstice is also the moment when the veil between the worlds grows thin — a gateway to the Otherworld of the faeries, the spirits of Nature, and of Morgan Le Fay, in her hidden realm beneath the Glastonbury Tor.
Join the Litha Summer Solstice celebration with the Milan Goddess Temple, in person and online, and honour this sacred turning of the Wheel.
The celebration takes place every year in June, in Milan and online.
