Anna Travelling Priestess is is Priestess of the Goddess and of Avalon trained at the Glastonbury Goddess Temple in the United Kingdom. She is deeply committed to spreading Goddess spirituality throughout Italy via her online platforms and in-person events. She is Founder and Director of the Milan International Goddess Temple ©.
Anna's journey began as a researcher of ancient Northern European archaeology and history. Italian by birth and based in Milan, she spent over a decade living in Iceland and the United Kingdom. There, she earned a BA, an MA, and a PhD in Old Norse and Modern Icelandic Studies, with First Class Honours.
Since returning to Italy, she has balanced a career in communications with her passion for historical and philological research. Dedicated to the rediscovery of the sacred, Anna draws on extensive specialisations in spiritual and holistic practices. Furthermore, she devotes herself to numerous pro bono initiatives focused on mentoring and female empowerment, as well as volunteering for animal welfare and environmental conservation.
Milan Goddess Temple
The Milan International Goddess Temple was founded on 7th December 2022 — the feast day of Saint Ambrose, Patron Saint of the City of Milan — through the vision and dedication of Anna, Priestess of Avalon and of the Goddess trained at the Glastonbury Goddess Temple in the United Kingdom. The Milan Goddess Temple is the only Temple recognised within Milan and the Lombardy region in the Avalonian tradition of the Glastonbury Goddess Temple, and is conducted in accordance with the latter's spiritual tradition and teachings.
The Temple serves as a physical, itinerant, and virtual space for connection, learning, support, collaboration, and celebration within a spiritual and cultural framework. Reflecting the multicultural and international essence of Milan, it adopts both a local and global approach, offering activities in both Italian and English.
The Milan Goddess Temple maintains significant collaborations: with Libreria Esoterica Milano, with whom it hosts in-person and online seasonal celebrations of the Wheel of the Year; and with the Glastonbury Goddess Temple, for which it serves as a co-organiser of international online seasonal celebrations, and with whom it created the video course 'Nel Cerchio della Dea' (In the Circle of the Goddess) on the Wheel of Avalon for the Italian community.
The Milan International Goddess Temple is a 360-degree, pan-spiritual, and inclusive community. It serves as a space for learning, sharing, and spreading Goddess spirituality and culture, grounded in values such as:
- Partnership and harmonious co-creation in respect and appreciation of differences;
- Respect for life in all its forms, also including environmental and animal protection;
- Proactivity and support in the re-formulation of a healthy society deeply rooted in the mind, body, and soul;

The Milan International Goddess Temple © is devoted to the Lady of Avalon and Morgan Le Fay, in alignment with the spiritual path of the Temple’s founder. However, reflecting its multicultural nature and openness, the Temple welcomes and embraces various interpretations of the Goddess and the divine according to each individual’s personal path. It honours the ancient Great Goddesses who shaped the history and foundations of the city — Belisama and Minerva — as well as Brigantia, Reitia, and beyond.
Furthermore, the Milan International Goddess Temple © maintains an active, open, and fluid collaboration with other Temples of similar roots both in Italy and abroad, such as the Glastonbury Goddess Temple, and with Italian institutions such as Libreria Esoterica Milano. It also collaborates with individual Priests and Priestesses of Avalon or other traditions who share similar values, experience, and goals.
